SO THUSIA. Both the most straightforward decision ever and the most terrible, mainly because of Lucky. The last time terrible things happened, Aoko coped by becoming the Best Damn Police Officer, and now that terrible things are happening again on a greater scale, she'd be wrapping her profession around herself like a skintight armoured body suit. On top of that, Aoko's taken the hard-won and hard-fought for route into Tokyo's police force, and she'd be fresh out of her rookie year by a year or two when she came in, so all of that training would still be very vivid and something she is very protective of. She realizes policekeeping isn't a black and white issue, but she respects the rules a great deal for all of that, and the way Lucky does things would get her instantly angry. She wouldn't stand for it. She couldn't stand for it. And Isa.... works under Lucky.

There's a chance that Aoko and Lucky could work out some kind of compromise, but given Lucky's batshittery and Aoko's hyper-professionalism I wouldn't place high bets on it. How Aoko would treat Isa in response to this would basically depend on how Isa drew sides, and how staunchly she'd defend Lucky. Aoko could put up with Isa continuing to work for Lucky if she acknowledged that Lucky frequently makes terrible decisions and pledged to make what correctional measures she could from 'inside', but without those conditions... yeah, that could turn out very badly.

This would be compounded by the fact that Aoko would likely wind up acting like an officer all the time around everyone except for Kaito and Akako. It would be more relaxed when she wasn't 'on duty', but in Japan police officers are usually pretty friendly and neighbourly with the blocks they're in charge of, and she'd just use a softer version of that in her 'civilian' relationships. This would help keep her fair and impartial in dealing with issues, and would be good for making friendly acquaintances, but not necessarily friends — especially with Thusia's bunch. She'd probably wind up alienated by a few groups for her behaviour, even if she didn't come down on anybody without good cause.

And of course, faced with so much concentrated resentment and lack of respect from people she's living among, she'd probably start breaking down on the inside while... not being willing to talk to anyone about it, because Akako and Kaito wouldn't really understand it and she wouldn't feel close enough to anyone else to mention it. Who wants to know that their officer is having serious issues? Though something in me says a member of Sparklehaus would probably stumble across this eventually and try to do something about it. She knows letting them build up is a bad thing, they're warned about it in training, but back in the force they also had coworkers and shared shifts and on-duty psychiatrists and leave time and all the things that Thusia does not have by any stretch of the imagination. So she'd just keep stretching herself instead, until something broke.

Isa has a good chance of recognizing this behaviour, all things considered! Depending on how things go with Lucky, Isa also has a good chance of being completely shunned by Aoko on this front. It could easily go either way. Idek how things would go after she broke, it would depend on what relationships she had by that point.

I think that covers that ONTO PART THREE/FOUR.
